Make sure to read the fine print on each gift certificate. Some have different rules. My husband and I buy these all the time, and we eat out for VERY CHEAP. However, some restaurants have a minimum of $50 purchase, so we only get those for special occasions like anniversaries and birthdays. If we're going to eat somewhere very nice, it's still great to get it well over half off! For the most part, though, we buy the "minimum of $35" places, and since it's a $25 gift certificate, we get a nice, $35 meal for $10. Can't beat that!
