As you may have heard in announcements in church today, or even if you missed it, January our ward has the opportunity of using the canner. It ends up being right around $1 per can, and a great opportunity to get some of our food storage done at the first of the year. Also, we received some information about getting some berries at the Ogden Cannery. You have to sign up and complete a 30 minute shift (you do your own). Prices are as follows:
Blackberries--$4.40 per 4 lb. bag
Blueberries--$8.40 per 4 lb. bag
Raspberries--$8.00 per 4 lb. bag
Strawberries--$4.40 per 4 lb. bag
**Limit 10 bags per person
(Cannery provides gallon zip lock freezer bags)
**Remember to bring your cooler to take your product home in!

**The shift is only about 30 minutes--just enough time to pay for product and fill bags.
Call 801-399-3723 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between 9am and 3pm to make a reservation for yourself and family members. Do not leave your reservation on voice messaging due to volume of calls. We are unable to return your call.
We will take credit/debit cards beginning in January 2011.
